Stop The Coup Demonstration in Plymouth City Centre

There was a fantastic turnout in Plymouth city centre, to protest against the suspension of Parliament. The actions of Johnson and Cummings are an attack on our democracy and must be stopped. Many groups supported the event, including Plymouth Lib Dems, Plymouth Labour, Devon For Europe, Plymouth Greens, Extinction Rebellion Plymouth, concerned local citizens, and more.

Plymouth Lib Dem parliamentary candidate for South West Devon Sima Davarian gave a passionate and positively received speech. Several speakers addressed a crowd of hundreds, coming from a range of different groups & political parties. We would like to say a big thank you to the organisers, and other supporters and attendees, for making this possible.
