Peter York receives lifetime achievement award today (Friday 7th October)

Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lords and former MEP for Plymouth & Cornwall Lord Teverson will this evening present local Lib Dem Peter York with the national party's Harriett Smith Distinguished Service Award.
The award recognises Peter's impressive fifty years of service to the Liberals and Liberal Democrats here in Plymouth.
Lord Teverson will also speak about Brexit, especially after this week's Conservative Party Conference, and the work of the Lib Dems in the House of Lords.
The event starts at 7 o'clock at the Quaker House on Mutley Plain.
