Local Election Results & Thanks

With the 2019 Council Elections over, I want to thank all members, supporters and those electors who voted Liberal Democrat. A particularly special message of thanks is due to all those who helped to deliver the Liberal Democrat message in Plymstock and Compton.

Finally, thanks to all our candidates, some of whom have achieved very encouraging results.

Candidate Sima Davarian achieved 18.8% of the vote in our target ward Plymstock Dunstone. We also achieved double figure percentages in our two further target wards (and in another two city wards), showing that our campaigning is making a difference.

We achieved 7.8% of the vote across all wards where we stood, up from 5.3% in 2018. We didn't manage any wins, but we will continue our efforts and we will be there again in 2020.

To achieve the results we seek, we shall need and look forward to your continued help and support.
