2021, a few thoughts on what we've been doing, and what's next.
In October, whilst we're looking ahead to our AGM in November, it might be worth a quick look back at 2021.
Still in the throes of pandemic, we have nonetheless been able to meet outdoors. Early in the year we delivered leaflets and letters for the May local elections, and met a few voters along the way.
In August we had a stall on the Hoe for Plymouth Pride. Also in August we ventured into litterpicking, and our third session is due soon. Meanwhile Richard Worrall, our Plymstock Dunstone council candidate, has been busy helping residents with problems encountered during our deliveries and (careful) canvassing.
Our committees continue to meet regularly via Zoom, but the AGM will be a "hybrid" event. Our chosen venue have installed some excellent internet conferencing equipment, so we can have a limited number of members present in the room, with precautions, and others can join via Zoom.
